Obituary	MRS. EFFIE PAGE Mrs. Effie Marie Page, 42, wife of Gerald S. Page, died Thursday evening at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born in Corinna, Oct. 16, 1924, the daughter of Fred J. and Ruth (Jones) Nutter. Mrs. Page attended Corinna schools, graduated from Corinna Union Academy and the University of Maine. She also did advanced summer school work at the U. of M. She married Gerald Page at Corinna July 10, 1948, and was a home economics teacher at Dexter High School for 15 years, retiring two years ago because of ill health. Mrs. Page was a member of Corinne Chapter, OES; member of Dexter DAR; the National Education Association, Maine Teachers Association and the Corinna Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Helen and Hedy J. and one son, Keith W., all of Dexter; her mother and father of Hillsboro, N. C.; one sister, Mrs. Dora Littlefield of Corinna; a brother, Robert P. of Hillsboro; one uncle and several aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at the Dexter Methodist Church Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Gordon Parlin officiating. Burial was in the family lot of the Corinna Center Cemetery.
