Obituary	ARTHUR TREFETHEN Arthur J. Trefethen, 87, died Friday evening at a Skowhegan hospital. He was born at Exeter June 5, 1879, the son of Abram and Eliza (Allen) Trefethen. A life-long resident of Exeter, he had been engaged in farming and was a dealer in livestock as well as having several other kinds of work. He had a 50 year membership pin in Pacific Masonic Lodge of Exeter of which he had been a member for 65 years and had been a past master. Survivors are two sons, Lyston A. and Theron M., both of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Arsenault of North Dexter; a brother, Melen 0. of Dexter; two granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Monday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Gordon Parlin, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Committal services were conducted by the Pacific Masonic Lodge at the Crowell Cemetery in Exeter.
