Obituary	E. AUGUSTUS LOUD E. Augustus Loud, 78, died Sunday evening at the Plummer Hospital after a long illness. He was born at Newport Aug. 27, 1888, the son of Charles M. and Wealthy (Ferguson) Loud. He was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ, came to Dexter 28 years ago and was employed at the Fay- scott Machine Shop until retirement because of ill health. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Loud of here: one son, Maynard A. of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Stewart of Pittsfield and Mrs. Nina Sedgwick of Mohegan Lake, N. Y., eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Crosby Funeral Home. Ralph Smart of the Bangor Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
