Obituary	LAURENCE SHOREY Laurence Shorey, 58, died suddenly July 1 at his home in Marlboro, Mass. He was born in Corinna, Oct. 7, 1907 the son of Charles H. and Henrietta (Peyser) Shorey. He was employed at the Army Research Center in Natick, Mass. where he was in the purchasing and contracting office. He worked for the Portsmouth Herald for 16 years before serving for three years as a yeoman in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre. He was employed for several years in Washington, D. C., before being transferred to Natick. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Arthur R. Churchill of Dexter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were conducted July 3, at the Coldwell Funeral Home in Marlboro, Mass. and a Memorial Service was held, July 17 at the Universalist-Unitarian Church in Portsmouth, N. H. Burial was in the family lot at Corinna Center Cemetery.
