Obituary	LENA S. LEAVITT Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Farnham Funeral Home in Newport for Lena S. Leavitt, 92, who died in a local nursing home early Saturday morning. She was born at Connor, N. B. July 27, 1873, the daughter of Joseph and Sophie (Bouchard) Landry of Canada. She was educated in the schools of Connor, N.B. and moved to Patten at the age of 12 where she completed her schooling. She was married to William L. Leavitt 1898 and settled at Sherman. They moved to Exeter 54 years ago and moved to Dexter 12 yars ago. Survivors include six sons, Fred S., Winfield R., James E. and Benjamin M., all of Exeter, Clifford E. of Wilburn, Mass., and Edmund F. of Corinna; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Doyne of Exeter, Miss Flora M. Leavitt of Dexter; Mrs. Lillian A. Boyce, Bangor, Mrs. Rowena L. Burrill of Ashland; 29 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews and grandnieces. Burial was in the family lot at Tibbetts Cemetery at Exeter.
