Obituary
PHILIP L. VIGUE Philip L. Vigue, 41, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital. He was born in Dexter, Dec. 28, 1924, the son of George and Helen (Chapman) Vigue. He was educated in the Dexter schools and was a veteran of World War II. He was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Pouliout-Sevey Post American Legion; and Chief Counselor of the Rev. Raymond Berard Circle, Columbian Squires. Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Edward of New Rochelle, N. Y. and James of New York City, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Salisbury and Mrs. Imogene Arno, both of Dexter; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Remains are at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter where friends may call Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Members of the Knights of Columbus and Columbian Squires will meet at 8 p.m. at the church and go to the Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Friday at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Gaston Auger, pastor, officiating . Altar boys and honorary pall bearers will be members of the Columbian Squires. Burial will be in the family lot in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
