Obituary	JOHN S. CHADWICK Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, April 13, at the Thompson Funeral Home, East Corinth, for John Straw Chadwick, 84, who died Sunday morning at a Sangerville nursing home following a short illness. The Rev. Philip Mather of the First Baptist Church, Dexter, officiated and interment will be in the Hart Cemetery, Holden. He was born at Holden, April 8, 1882, son of John and Orissa (Kingsbury) Chadwick. The greater part of his life was spent as a guide in the Rangeley area. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles W. Wilson, Dover road, Dexter; a sister, Mrs. LeRoy Jordon of Portland; two half-sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Salisbury of Otis and Miss Barbara Chadwick of Bangor; a half-brother, Fred W. Chadwick of North Guilford; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
