Obituary	WILBUR F. PACKARD Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 4, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Wilbur F. Packard, 73, who died early Saturday morning at a Bangor hospital following a period of ill health. John FJ McNally, Jr., pastor of the First Universalist Church, officiated. Burial will take place later in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Ripley, Dec. 9, 1892, son of Frank and Mary (Wakefield) Packard. He had resided here for nearly 50 years, and was self-employed as a painter. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mattie (Nelson) Packard; a daughter, Helen; a brother, Allerd, all of Dexter; uncles and cousins.
