Obituary	WILLIAM H. MOUNTAIN William H. Mountain, 44, husband of Dorothy (Thompson) Mountain, died unexpectedly at Bangor Wednesday morning. He was residing in Orrington and was employed by Cain's Mayonnaise in Hampden. He was born at Sangerville Feb. 10, 192l, son of the late Harold C. and Mabel (Ames) Mountain. A graduate of N.H. Fay High School in Dexter, he spent most of his life here and attended the University of Maine. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Air Force in the European Theatre, as a radio operator and gunner. He had been on 26 missions with the Clay Pigeons group. He held the Distinguished FIying Cross. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mabel Spencer of Dexter and Florida; his widow, Orrington; two daughters, Mrs. Victoria Conte of Scranton, Pa., Mrs. Dale Good of Newport; a son, Frank H., S.E. Naval Air Force, Barber's Point, Hawaii; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Buxton of Dexter, Mrs. Dorothy Dyer of Arlington, Mass.; a grandchild; two nieces and a nephew.
