Obituary	LAWRENCE J. LABREE A funeral Mass was held this morning, Thursday, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter, for Lawrence J. LaBree, 54, who died Sunday, Nov. 7, at the Bay Pines Veterans' Hospital, Bay Pines, Fla. following a short illness. The Rev. Gaston Auger officiated and interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Presque Isle, April 24, 1911, son of Mrs. Emelia Clukey, now of Glenburn, and the late Alexander LaBree. He served in the South Pacific during World War II and was awarded the Silver Star and a Presidential unit citation in the liberation of the Philippines. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Dorothy LaBree of Southwick, Mass., three sisters, Mrs. Georgiana Hartford and Mrs. Adeline Merrill, both of Dexter and Mrs. Pearl Landerville of Auburndale, Fla., three brothers, Leo of Redding, Calif., James of Bangor and Adrile of Woodland.
