Obituary	LINDEN P. BROWN Funeral services for Linden P. Brown, 88, who died last Thursday morning at the Plummer Memorial Hospital after several months of failing health, were held Saturday morning at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter. John FJ McNally, Jr., minister of the First Universalist Church, officiated. Interment was at South Portland in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He was born at South Portland, October 21, 1876, son of Warren and Ada (Leavitt) Brown; and was the husband of the late Abigail Brown. He was educated in the South Portland schools and was employed for many years as assistant chief railroad clerk at the Portland Terminal. Since 1944, he had made his home at Dexter with his only son, Donald W. Brown, and family, Zion's Hill. He is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a nephew.
