Obituary	MELLOM J. WHITE Mellom J. White, 81, died at his home here Sunday following a long illness. He was the husband of the late Mary P. White. He was born at St. Charles, N.B., September 24, 1883, son of Placide and Selina (Richards) White. He came here in 1905, where he started work at the Fay and Scott Machine Shop and in 1912 he became a painter. He retired in 1960. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard McKenney of Dexter, Mrs. William Grover of Waterville; a brother, Placide of Moncton, N. B.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, the Rev. Gaston Auger officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
