Obituary	CLARENCE A. LITTLEFIELD Clarence Alfred Littlefield, 71, died Saturday morning at a Bangor hospital following a long period of ill health. He was born at Greenbush July 5, 1893, son of Samuel and Frances (McKenney) Littlefield. He was educated in Dexter schools. He received textile training in the Morrison Woolen Company of Dexter. He was married to Lena Edgerly on January 18, 1913 at Dexter. They moved to Corinna in 1931, and he became overseer at the Moosehead Woolen Mill. He was later president of the Pine Tree Blanket Mill of Corinna. The couple moved to Newport in 1941, at which time he started a woolen mill in Plymouth, this having burned in 1955. He retired at that time. He was a member of the American Woolen Association. Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Delmont F., Lloyd C. both of Newport, Blaine F. of Burnham; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Carrie) Merrill of Dexter, Mrs. John (Elva) Elliott of East Walpole, Mass.; two brothers, George Littlefield of Franklin, Mass., Earl Pomeroy of Dexter; an aunt; several cousins, nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday at Farnham Funeral Home, Newport, the Rev. Raymond Grossman of the Corinna Methodist Church officiating. Entombment was in Oakes Memorial Tomb to await spring burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
