Obituary	MRS. MABEL RICHARDS Mrs. Mabel Richards, 67, of Dexter died early this (Thurs.) morning at the Plummer Memorial hospital in Dexter. The daughter of Leslie and Cora Strout, Mrs. Richards was born on Oct. 12, 1896 in Ripley. She was educated in Ripley schools and had been a resident of Dexter since coming here after her marriage in 1920 to Wesley C. Richards. She was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church and Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Parlin officiating. Burial will be in the Dexter cemetery. Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home today (Thurs.) and Friday. Survivors include the husband, a brother, Shelden Strout of Dexter; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Day of Corinna; a son, Clyde of Dexter; five grandchildren and cousins, nieces, and nephews.
