Obituary	Mrs. Dora S. Smart The many friends of Mrs. Dora S. Smart, 49, wife of Raleigh Smart of this town were shocked to learn of her death from menengitis, early this morning at the Eastern Maine General hospital in Bangor. Mrs. Smart was taken ill at her home on Spring street Friday of last week and her condition growing serious, she was removed by ambulance to the Bangor hospital Tuesday afternoon. She was born May 5. 1895; the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seba Sweet of East Corinth. She has made her home in Dexter for many years and had a wide circle of friends who deeply regret her death. For some time she was in the office of Dr. S. J. Redman. Mrs. Smart was a member of Martha Washington Rebekah lodge, Wassookeag chapter, 0. E. S. and of the Pythian Sisters, and was always an ardent worker for the interests of the orders. She leaves her husband; a daughter Mrs. Greta Hatch of Dexter and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sweet of East Corinth, also one sister. The remains are being brought to Dexter this afternoon and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
