Obituary	ALTON M. PUFFER Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 2, at the Olan Burton residence, South Ridge road, Dexter, for Alton M. Puffer, 90, who died suddenly Thursday at the home of his step-grandson, Olan Burton, after a long illness. The Rev. Gordon F. Parlin of the Dexter Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in the Corinna Cemetery. He was born at Corinna, March 6, 1874, son of Lewis and Martha (Crowell) Puffer. The greater part of his life was spent in Corinna where he worked in the lumber industry. He held the gold headed cane of Corinna. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Flossie Lancaster of Dexter; a step-son, Darrol Burton, Dexter; a foster dauughter, Tena Purcival; several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
