MRS. BEULAH CROWELL Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Beulah (Skillings) Crowell, 73, widow of Earl Z. Crowell, who died Szturday night at a Bangor hospital following a brief illness. She was born at Garland April 14, 1892, the daughter of Alton and Anna (Kortan) Skillings. She was educated in Garland schools and taught in rural schools at Dexter, before and after her marriage. She was a member of the board of Deaconesses of the First Universalist Church, acting preisdent of the Ladies Aid of the church, regent of Rebecca Weston Chapter, DAR; Ridge Ladies Social Club, a past grand of Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge and a member of Faithful Links Past Noble Grands Association. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Althea Williams of Rochester, N.Y.; two grandchildren, one niece, one nephew and several cousins. Services were conducted at the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon Parlin of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the West Garland Cemetery.
