Obituary	MRS. EMMA L. FARRAR Mrs. Emma Louise Farrar, 60, an active Grange member, died suddenly Sunday at a Waterville hospital. She was the wife of Edward Raymond Farrar. She was born at Dover-Foxcroft, July 12, 1904, the daughter of Gerald and Mabel (Judkins) Gerry. Mrs. Farrar had been a long time resident of Ripley. She was a member of the Methodist Ladies Aid, the extension group and Ripley Grange. She was also a member of East Somerset Pomona, State and National Grange and Oriental Chapter, OES, of Cambridge. Besides her husband, survivors are two sons, Edward of Cambridge and David of Ripley; three brothers, George A. Gerry of Waterville, Orman of Dexter and Emery Gerry of Winterport; a sister, Mrs. Eugene Starbird of North Dexter; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter Wednesday with the Rev. Gordon Parlin of the Dexter Methodist Church officiating. Spring burial will be in West Ripley Cemetery.
