Obituary	CLAUDE H.CARTER Claude Henry Carter, 52, died suddenly last Thursday afternoon following a brief illness at the home of his sister, Mrs. Hanford Crouse on Free st., where he had made his home for many years. He was born July 21, 1912, at Washburn, son of Calvin D. and Faustine (Dickinson) Carter. Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Crouse, are a sister, Mrs. Parker Cushman of Orono; a brother, Roy H.of Washburn; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Crosby Funeral Home, Saturday, the Rev. Philip Mather of the First Baptist Church officiating. Spring burial will be in a Washburn cemetery.
