Obituary	MRS. ALVA A. DAVIS Mrs. Alva A. Davis, 55, wife of Police Chief and Deputy Sheriff Jerald L. Davis, died at her home in Gray Feb. 16 after a long illness. She was born at Chapman, Aug. 16, 1909, the daughter of Philip and Mary (Delano) Adams. She attended Corinna schools and resided at Gray for over 30 years. She was a former member of Twilight Grange of Corinna, was a former Cub Scout den mother at Corinna, and was a member of the Congregational Church at Gray. Survivors are her husband, and two sons, Jerald L. Jr. and Philip Davis, both of Gray; two sisters, one a twin sister, Altha E. Armington of Saco, Mrs. Barbara Bridges of Dexter. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Congregational Church at Gray.
