Obituary	MRS. FLORENCE DOWNS Mrs. Florence G. Downs, 74, the widow of Nathan Downs, died Tuesday evening at the Plummer Hospital, Dexter, after a long illness. She was born at East Dover Nov. 25, 1890, the daughter of James and Jennie (Curtis) Mitchell. She had been a resident of Dexter for the past 35 years. Survivors are three sons, Walter and Robert Downs of Dexter, and Carroll Downs of St. Albans; two sisters, Mrs. Forrest Farris and Mrs. Grace Collins of Dover-Foxcroft; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon Parlin of the Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Spring interment will be in Bassett Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft.
