Obituary	FRED A. LITTLEFIELD Fred A. Littlefield, 85, died Feb. 6 in Waterville following a long illness. Born in Dexter Oct. 6, 1870 the son of Royal and Annie (Herrin) Littlefield, he lived in Dexter until 1935 when he went to Newport and later moved to Waterville where he owned and operated the Spaulding Real Estate Agency. His wife Wilhelmina (Hauser) Littlefield died in 1962. He is survived by one son, Paul of Bangor and three daughters, Mrs. Paul Johnson, Dexter, Mrs. Earle Hammond, Waterville and Mrs. Charles Cronin, Bangor, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Redington Funeral Home in Waterville with the Rev. Leslie Howland, pastor of the Pleasant Street Methodist Church officiating. The bearers were Paul Johnson, Earle Hammond, Charles Cronin, and Van Johnson. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
