Obituary
WILLIAM H. FISHER William Henry Fisher, 77, died Monday at the Togus hospital following a long illness. A lifelong resident of Dexter, he was born Sept. 9, 1887, son of William A. and Leona (Chase) Fisher. He is survived by his widow, Lena (Cook) Fisher; two brothers, Robert of Providence, R.I., and Lee of Parkman; a sister, Cora Cogan of Dexter; several nieces and nephews. He was employed for many years as a spinner at the Amos Abbott Company and Dumbarton Woolen Mills at Dexter and the Moosehead Woolen Mill in Corinna. He was a veteran of World War 1, and a member of Poulliot-Seavey Post, American Legion, of Dexter, and a former member of Plymouth Odd Fellows Lodge. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crosby Funeral Home, the Rev. Edwin Wheeler of the Dexter Pentecostal Church officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, here. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
