Obituary	JOSEPH F. MORANCIE Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, July 15, at St. Ann's Catholic Church for Joseph Fredrick Morancie, 83, husband of Mrs. Emma T. Morancie, who died Sunday at St. Dominic's Nursing Home after a long period of failing health. The Rev. Gaston Auger officiated, interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at St. George, Que., Sept. 18, 1880, son of Joseph and Louise (Chatie) Morancie. He came to the United States at the age of eight, and for the past 60 years had been a resident of Dexter. For a number of years he was employed as a molder in a local foundry. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Bernard Morancie, and a daughter, Mrs. Anita Vigue, both of Dexter; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
