MRS. WILLIAM T. MAYBURY Funeral services for Mrs. Imogene Maybury, 76, widow of William T. Maybury, who died Tuesday at the EMG Hospital, Bangor, after a long illness were held this afternoon at the First Universalist Church, Dexter. Rene J. Dawe, pastor of the church, officiated and interment was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Active Bearers were: Malcolm Brawn, Edward Howard, Richard Ramsay, Vernon Morancie, John Phinney, Walter Dearborn, Merle Dubay, Guy Ellms; honorary bearers: George Everett, Bangor; Fred Hall, Ellsworth; Ben Sorentino, Mass.; and from Dexter, Clarence Crosby, Norman Plouff, Ralph Leighton, Reynold Thompson, Joseph Porter, Nathan Bucknam, Hovey Harmon, Bartolo Siciliano, Henry Larsen and Clarence A. Harrington. Ushers were Graydon Gilbert, Owen Pooler and Wellman Pooler. She was born at Dexter, May 24, 1888, daughter of Dr. Wilbur A. and Etta (Gould) Bumps. She was a graduate of Dexter High School; a member of the Class of 1911 at the University of Maine, and a member of Alpha Omicron Phi Sorority. She was a member of the First Universalist Church; a past president of the Ladies' Aid; on the board of governors of the Plummer Memorial Hosppital; and held membership in the Dexter Woman's Literary Club, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Shriners Sunshine Club for Crippled Children. She was a member of the United States Trotting Association, Standard Bred owners Association, and co-owner of the Maybury Farms. Survivors are cousins, Mrs. Forest E. McKee and Miss Frances Bumps of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Helen (Gould) Smith of Veazie and William 0. Gould of Auburn. Out of town relatives and friends attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, Veazie; Mrs. Anna Hatch and Mrs. Courtland Campbell, Winchester, Mass., and Mrs. Vivian Drake, Dover, N. H.
