Obituary	FRED J. CLUKEY Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Dexter, for Fred J. Clukey, 72, who died unexpectedly Thursday night, May 21, at his home on Park st. The Rev. Gaston Auger officiated. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Dexter, June 16, 1891, son of Peter N. and Elizabeth (Dyer) Clukey. The greater part of his life he was employed as a spinner at the Dumbarton Mill, but for the past 12 years Mr. Clukey had been custodian of Pleasant St. School where he was highly esteemed by the children and the staff. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and its St John the Baptist Society. Survivors are his widow, Lucy; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Eva Rabideau of Millinocket; four grand children; six great- grandchildren; his step-mother, Mrs. Amelia Clukey of Dexter; a brother, Barnard of Dexter; four sisters, Mrs. Flora Gilbert, Mrs. Evelyn Frautten, Mrs. Cecile Cote and Mrs. Freda Sampson, all of Dexter.
