Obituary	JASPER M. HIGGINS Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, April 29, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Jasper M. Higgins 62, who died Sunday at the James A. Taylor Osteopathic Hospital at Bangor after a prolonged illness. The Rev. John B. S. Fitzpatrick of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Guilford, Aug. 15, 1901, son of Charles E. and Laura (Merrill) Higgins. He had been employed at the Fayscott-Landis Machine Corporation at Dexter for the past 24 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Winnifred Higgins of Dexter; two brothers, Paul of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Wendell of Dexter; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Jack of Fairfield; a niece and several cousins.
