Obituary
JAMES LESSOR Prayer services were held Tuesday morning, April 21, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for James Lessor, 71, who died early Friday morning at St. Dominic's Nursing Home where he had been a patient for 8 years. The Rev. Gaston Auger of St. Anne's Catholic Church officiated. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Skowhegan, May 1, 1892, son of Leger and Pauline (Caron) Lessor. He came to Dexter from Skowhegan and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary M. Lessor of Pomona, Calif., a step-son, William A White, Pomona, Calif., six step-daughters, Mrs. Jessie A. Richards, Mrs. Gertrude A Cunningham, both of Pomona, Mrs. Mary M. Brown, Mrs. Edythe E. Racine, both of Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Dorothy Murch of Greenville and Mrs. Edna Rolfe of Dexter; a brother, Henry Lessor of Skowhegan; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence DeCeco and Mrs. Mary-ann Silvero, both of Boston, Mass.
