Obituary	MRS. NELLIE ANN NELSON Mrs. Nellie Ann Nelson, 84, widow of Perry D. Nelson, died Tuesday night, April 14, at the Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Dexter. The Rev. John B. S. Fitzpatrick will officiate assisted by the deceased's nephew, the Rev. Vinal Thomas of Houlton. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends may call at the Roy Nelson home, Park st. She was born at Centreville N.B. April 1, 1880, daughter of George and Addie (Perkins) Thomas. She came from Presque Isle to Dexter where the greater part of her life was spent, although for the past few years she resided with a daughter at Dover-Foxcroft. Survivors are six sons, Roy W. of Dexter, Andrew A., West Haverstraw, N.Y., Earl G., Pittsfield, Glen P., Lewiston, Sprugeon G., and Perry D. both of Dexter; seven daughters, Mrs. Ethel Barney, Mrs. Avis Shaw, both of Dexter, Mrs. Helen Higgins, Bangor, Miss Lela Nelson, Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Dorothy Towle, East Corinth, Mrs. Shirley Campbell, Dover-Foxcroft, and Mrs. Lois McKenney, Dexter; three brothers, Harley Thomas, Mars Hill, Gordon Thomas, Farmington and Frank Thomas, Waterville; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Crocker of California; 39 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
