Obituary	GEORGE STANLEY BEMENT Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Janurary 19, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for George Stanley Bement, 73, lifelong resident of this town who died suddenly Thursday at his home on Lincoln street. Interment will take place this spring at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Dexter, February 3, 1890, son of Alberto and Clara (Curtis) Bement. A retired machinist, he was employed by the Fayscott-Landis Machine Corporation for many years. He was a member of Penobscot Masonic Lodge and the Royal Arch Chapter, both of Dexter, and Skowhegan Commandery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Bement, a patient at St. Dominic's Nursing Home at Dexter; a brother, Walter Bement of Greenville, and one nephew.
