Obituary	AVON R.GETCHELL Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Avon R. Getchell, 77, who died Saturday at St. Dominic's Nursing Home after a long illness. Ralph Smart, evangelist, of the Church of Christ, Dexter, officiated. Spring burial will take place at Olamon. He was born at Smyrna Mills, July, 1886. Prior to coming to Dexter about 10 years ago, the greater part of his life was spent at Enfield. He had been employed as a woodsman and in the local woolen mills. Survivors are a son, Leroy Getchell of Olamon; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
