Obituary	JAMES P. BRYSON, SR. James Patrick Bryson, Sr., 81, died in Stetson last Thursday night after a long illness. He was born in Easton, March 3, 1883, son of Michael J. and Ida Brown Bryson. A lumberman and farmer, he was a resident of North Newport for 49 years, coming to Stetson a year ago. In 1914 he married Florence Delia Lynch in Dexter. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Anna Louise Lovejoy of Stetson, Mrs. Delores Fernald of Newport, Mrs. Gloria Burrill of Corinna, Mrs. Marilyn Bolduc of Dexter, Mrs. Phyllis MacDonald of Greenville, and Mrs. Merna DeLong of Lowell, Mass.; three sons, James P., Jr., Lewis E. and Ralph, all of Corinna; a sister, Mrs. Velma McNeil of Caribou; four brothers, Michael of Corinna, Leon of Junction City, Ore., Lewis of Eugene, Ore., and Berton of Florence, Ore.; 28 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Monday at St. Anne's Church in Dexter, with burial to be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in the spring.
