Obituary	MRS. LENA HIGGINS Funeral services were held Monday morning, Nov. 11, at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Mrs. Lena Higgins, 82, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Peters, New Rochelle, N. Y., after a long period of failing health. The Rev. Gaston Auger officiated. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Born at Dexter, Aug. 24, 1881, daughter of Peter and Lizzie (Dyer) Clukey, she had made her home at New Rochelle for 10 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She is survived by three sons: Edgar of Bangor, Dennis of Buffalo, N. Y., and Ludger Higgins of Sangerville; four daughters, Mrs. Peters of New Rochelle, Mrs. Marguerite Pooler of Dexter, Mrs. Gladys Rowell of Dover-Foxcroft,and Mrs. Bibian Hill of Coral Gables, Fla., two brothers, Fred and Bernard Clukey, both of Dexter; four sisters, Mrs. Cecile Cote, Mrs. Evelyn Frautten, Mrs. Freda Sampson, and Mrs. Flora Gilbert, all of Dexter; 24 grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Bearers were grandsons, Bruce Hill of Skowhegan, Wellman Pooler, Dover-Foxcroft, David Pooler of Corinna, Terry Higgins of Sangerville, Alton Higgins of Bangor and Frederick Peters, Jr. of Dover-Foxcroft. Among the relatives from out of town attending the funeral mass were Mrs. Bibian Hill of Coral Gables, Fla., Dennis Higgins, Buffalo, N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Peters and daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Mary Jones, New Rochelle, N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Ludger Higgins, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson, Mrs. Rita Provost and Terry Higgins, all of Sangerville; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Higgins, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Higgins and Miss Dorothy Pooler, Bangor; Mr. and Mrs. Amos Rowell, Robert and Wellman Pooler, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gammon, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Peters, Jr., all of Dover-Foxcroft; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hill, Skowhegan; Mr. and Mrs. Omar Higgins, Hampden; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Higgins, Levant; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bailey, Cambridge; Mr. and Mrs. David Pooler, Corinna.
