Obituary	ALVAH HAINES BRIDGHAM A committal service for Alvah Haines Bridgham, 92, a native of Dexter, was held Saturday afternoon, Aug. 24, at the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. The Rev. Gordon F. Parlin of the Methodist Church read the service. Funeral services were held at East Walpole, Mass. Mr. Bridgham was born at Dexter, Nov. 29, 1870, son of Levi and Mary Arabelle (Haines) Bridgham. Following his graduation from Dexter High School in 1889, he went to Boston, Mass., to learn the printing trade. He married Nellie Maud Lane of Dexter in 1901. For many years he lived at East Walpole, Mass., where he was employed by Bird and Son as a master printer. Following his retirement in 1943, he returned to Dexter to live with his two sisters at the Bridgham homestead on Maple st. The last four years he made his home with his daughter at East Walpole, where he died unexpectedly earIy Wednesday morning. He is survived by his daughter, Arabelle Bridgham Hildreth; a granddaughter Pamela Hildreth Hansen and great-grandson, Ralph Peter Hansen of Foxboro, Mass., a sister, Mrs. Louise Card of Dexter and two brothers, John Bridgham of Grinnell, Iowa, and Albert Bridgham of Salisbury, N. C.
