Obituary	RAY S. CROWELL Ray S. Crowell, 75, died last Wednesday morning at the Plummer Hospital, Dexter, after a brief illness. Born at Garland, Jan. 6, 1888, the son of George and Stella (Palmer) Crowell, he had spent most of his life in the Dexter and Corinna area where he worked as a woodsman. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by a brother, Earl of Corinna; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Frost of Dexter; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. William Hubbard of the Etna Spiritual Association officiated. Burial was in the Higgins Cemetery in Corinna.
