Obituary	NORRIS MCFARLAND Norris R. McFarland died last Thursday at the age of 69. He was born at Palmyra, Feb. 18, 1894, the son of William Henry and Adella Abbie McFarland. Survivors include his widow, Orilla Knowles McFarland; four daughters, Marion McFarland of Dexter and Beverly, Mass., Ella Alley of Waterville, Ethel Reeks of Dexter and Grace Hudson of Newport; one son, Fred McFarland of Long Beach, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 1great grandchild; two brothers, William Henry of Union, N. H., and Oscar of Englewood, N. J.; two sisters, Angie Rose, Lakeside, Calif., and Grace Leathers, El Centro, Calif. Mr. McFarland was a member of the American Legion in Corinna. He had resided there most of his life but had lived in Dexter the past five years. Military services were held Sunday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Corinna. Burial was in the Corinna Village Cemetery.
