Obituary
HARVEY A. INMAN Harvey Arthur Inman, 58 a native of Dexter who had been a resident of Calais for 24 years, died Sunday, May 19,at Togus Veterans' Hospital. Funeral services were held this afternoon, Thursday, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter with the Rev. Warren F. Harmon, pastor of the Free Baptist Church, officiating. It was planned to have a military service also. Bearers were Doran L. Nuite, Charles A. Starbird, Otis J. Rcberts, Jr., and Omar W. Roberts, all of Dexter. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born here April 18, 1905, son of Arthur and Katherine (Roberts) Inman. A veteran with four years of service in the Armed Forces in Germany and Africa, he was a member of the American Legion and V. F. W. Posts of Calais. Mr. Inman was serving his second term as city a councilman at Calais. Survivors are two brothers Theodore Inman, Sr., of Dexter and Stanley Inman of South Sangerville; two nieces and a nephew.
