ERMON R. CLOUGH Funeral services for Ermon R. Clough, 67, of Indian River, formerly of Dexter, who was killed in an automobile accident in Columbia Falls Friday morning, were held Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 22, at the Blackwood Funeral Chapel, Jonesport. The Rev. Paul Malicote officiated. Interment will take place next spring in the family lot in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born at Guilford, May 5, 1895, son of Moses and Carrie (Hussey) Clough. Surviving are three sons, Robert of Glendora, Calif., Clayton of Garden City, N. Y., and Herbert of the U. S. Navy; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Clough died as the result of a two car accident Friday morning at Route 1 and the Central District Road in Columbia Falls. Washington County Medical Examiner Karl V. Larson of East Machias said Clough died of shock as a result of an internal hemorrhage about 10 minutes after the crash which occurred at 9.30 a. m., Mrs. Rina Emery, 69, of Jonesport, a passenger in the Clough car, complained of shoulder pains. She was treated by Dr. Ciro Alfaro of Jonesport but was not hospitalized.
