Obituary
REED ELLIOT Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Dec. 22, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Reed Elliott, 66, who died Thursday morning at the Plummer Hospital after a short illness. The Rev. Warren F. Harmon of the First Free Baptist Church officiated. Burial will take place next spring in Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterville. He was born at Limestone, May 15, 1896, son of George and Ida (Kennison) Elliott. About 10 years ago he moved to Dexter from Waterville where he was associated with the Farm Bureau and Soil Conservation. Survivors are his widow, Nellie T. Elliott of Dexter; a brother, Clyde, of Waterville; six sisters, Mrs. Doris Bolduc, Mrs. Mildred Lewis, Miss Gladys Elliott, Miss Helen Elliott and Mrs. Marguerite Clukey, all of Waterville, and Mrs. Jessie Bennett of Athens, Texas; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
