Obituary	OSCAR L. ELDERKIN Funeral series were held Sunday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Oscar L. Elderkin, 76, who died unexpectedly Thursday. The Rev. Walter B. Wakeman of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Bearers were: He was born at Houlton, April 22, 1986, son of William and Marjorie (Paine) Elderkin. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dolah Elderkin of Dexter; a son, Frank, of Pittsfield; five daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Giles of Clinton, Mrs. Dorothy Merchant of Dexter, Mrs. Virginia Curtis of Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Barbara Buzzell of Skowhegan, and Mrs. Hope Knowles of Dedham; a brother, William, of Dexter a sister, Mrs. Mae A. Clements of Dexter; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
