Obituary	MRS. ROY F. CHENEY Mrs. Florence S. Cheney, 68, wife of Roy F. Cheney of Dexter, died at the Plummer Memorial Hospital Tuesday, Sept. 11, after a long illness. Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home Wednesday and Thursday from 2 - 4 p. m., and 7 - 9 p. m. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home Friday at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Walter B. Wakeman of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. She was born at Parkman, Oct. 3, 1893, daughter of 0. Everett and Minnie (Hewitt) Straw. She was active for many years in the Elizabeth Towle Guild of the First Baptist Church, Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge, and was a charter member of Shirley B. Carter Post V. F. W. Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Ogden of Dexter; three sons, Therl of Everett, Mass., Roger of Uncasville, Conn., and Rodney of Norwich Conn., a brother, Linwood Straw of Dexter; a sister, Mrs. Angie Hill of Somerville, Mass., 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a nephew, the Rev. Wayne Hill of Oregon.
