Obituary	ARTHUR PYER A funeral Mass was held at St. Anne's Catholic Church at Dexter Monday for Arthur Pyer, 72, formerly of Dexter, who died unexpectedly last Thursday at Bar Harbor. The Rev. Gaston Auger officiated, and burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Bearers were: Arthur Bailey, Clayton Ambrose and Douglas Gilbert of Dexter, James Pombriant, Auburn, Reginald LaPlante, of Franklin, N. H., and Wilfred Couture, East Hartford, Conn. He was born Sept. 22, 1889, at Phillips, Me., son of Frank and Melvina (Therrin) Pyer. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Georgia Pyer of Lewiston; a daughter, Mrs. Leonell Pombriant of Auburn; three sisters, Miss Claudie Pyer, Bar Harbor, Mrs. Rosie Couture of East Hartford, Conn., and Mrs. Jennie P. Morancie of Bar Harbor; three grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew.
