Obituary	Mrs. Rose Tibbetts Mrs. Rose Tibbetts, 83, widow of the late George Tibbetts died Monday at Bangor at a hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Caroline Coombs and Leonard Mason and was born in Bradford. She moved with her family to Corinna in 1879. She married George A. Tibbetts and lived in Corinna until after her husband's death in 1928. For the past few years, she has made her home in Orono with Mr. and Mrs. Sharman Henderson. Mrs. Tibbetts taught in the town schools for a period of years. She was always interested in the social life and the better things of the community. She was a Golden Sheaf member of Twilight Grange, having been a loyal worker of the order until she moved away. She was a charter member of Cleora Rebekah lodge and a past noble grand. She loved young people and had several children in her home to send to grade school and to the Academy; these and a half sister, Mrs. Carl Bates of Dexter and a cousin, Mrs. Russell of Stillwater, survive her. Funeral services were held in Corinna Wednesday at 2 o'clock.
