Obituary
VICTOR A. HANSON Victor A. Hanson, a native of Dexter for more than 40 years and known throughout the state as a dealer in cattle and horses, died early Sunday morning at his home on Upper Main st. following a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Harmon of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the family lot Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Born at Ripley, Sept. 26, 1881, he was the son of Charles and Dora Farrar Hanson. He is survived by his wife, Florence Boyle Hanson; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Coughlin, of Skowhegan; and Mrs. Madalyn Paquette, Dexter; one sister Mrs. Carrie Vining, Dexter and one brother, Fred C. Hanson, Mars Hill. Three grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
