Obituary
EDWARD T. LaFOUNTAIN Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, June 20, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter, for Edward Thomas LaFountain, 72, who died suddenly Monday morning at his home on Lincoln st. while mowing his lawn. The Rev. Gaston Auger officiated. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Bearers were Hugh McDonald of Sangerville; Frank Veno, Dover, N. H., Philip LaFontaine, Barton, Vt., Arthur Ronco, Raymond F. Clukey, and Albert Landry, all of Dexter. He was born at Dexter, Nov. 19, 1889, son of Felix and Mary (Pooler) LaFountain. Before retiring a few years ago, he was a brakeman on the Boston and Maine Railroad for 22 years. He was a member of the Trainmen's Association and St. Anne's Catholic Church. Survivors are a son, Edward Frederick LaFountain of Dexter; a brother, Louis of Dexter; four sisters, Mrs. Delores Nichols and Mrs. Minnie Richard of Dexter, Mrs. Delvine McDonald of Sangerville and Mrs. Georgia Veno of Dover, N. H., four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
