Obituary	MRS. MAURICE J. PROVOST A funeral mass was sung Monday morning, March 5, at St. Anne's Catholic Church at Dexter for Mrs. Ruth Provost, 56, widow of Maurice J. Provost, who died Friday at the Scott-Webb Hospital, Hartland, after a short illness. The Rev. Antonio M. Girardin of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Pittsfield, officiated. Bearers were: Omer Cleaves, Philip Cleaves, Roland Cleaves, Gabriel Cleaves, Lionel Richard and Raymond Goulette, all of Dexter. Spring burial will take place in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. A life-long resident of Dexter, she was born here September 28, 1905, daughter of John and Edith (Brown) Keefe. She is survived by five sons, Maurice, Jr., of Garland, Roy, Shirley and Clifford, all of Dexter, Richard of Sangerville; three daughters, Mrs. Gloria Ramsdell of Natick, Mass., Mrs. Marlene Richard and Mrs. Ramona Gordon both of Dexter; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Budvits of Hyde Park, Mass., Mrs. Alice Chabot and Mrs. Eva Chabot, both of Dexter, Mrs. Ethel Croft Syracuse, N. Y., two brothers, Sidney and Stanley Fanjoy of Dexter; 17 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
