Obituary	MRS.GERTRUDE M. ALLEN Mrs. Gertrude M. Allen, 77, widow of Dexter Allen, died Saturday, in a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Gordon F. Parlin, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Spring burial will be in the Jackman Corner cemetery, Sangerville. Born in Corinna April 12, 1884, she was the daughter of Fred and Ida Moody. She came to Dexter at the age of 7, and attended Dexter schools. She married Walter N. Marston, and in 1906 they went to Amesbury, Mass., to live. They also lived in Hartford, Conn., returning to Dexter in 1914. There were two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Arno and Mrs. Doris Goodreau, both deceased. Mrs. Marston later married Dexter Allen of Sangerville. She was a member of North Dexter Grange and Pomona Grange. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louine Cole and Mrs. Lois A. Sargent, both of Sangerville; by a step-daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Hurd of California; by 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; by a niece and a cousin.
