Obituary	ALFRED W. BANKS Funeral services for Alfred W. Banks, 76, who died suddenly Friday, Feb. 16, at his home on Center st., were held Monday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter. The Rev. Walter B. Wakeman of the First Baptist Church officiated. Spring burial will take place in the Corinna Center Cemetery. Mr. Banks was born at Stonington October 19, 1885. He retired several years ago after having been employed for some 20 years by the Fay and Scott Machine Company. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Laura Banks; a son, Atwood Banks of Portland; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Skillings of Seal Harbor, Mrs. Arthur Swett of Newport, Mrs. Lionel Briard of Waterville and Mrs. Weeks of Exeter; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
