Obituary
LYLE H. FANJOY Lyle H. Fanjoy, 69, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 21, at the Plummer Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. The Rev. Walter B. Wakeman of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Spring burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Thursday and Friday, 3 to 5 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. He was born at Cary, April 19, 1892, son of William and Addie (Libby) Fanjoy. He had been a resident of Dexter for some 50 years and was employed many years as a finish percher at the Dumbarton and Amos Abbott mills. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Edna (Tidd) Fanjoy; four sons: Earl, Robert, Lionel and Gerald Fanjoy, all of Dexter; two daughters: Mrs. Addie Irvin of Dexter and Mrs. Leta Chase of Houlton; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Wilson of Houlton; two brothers: W. Ray Fanjoy of Dexter; Clarence Fanjoy of Woburn, Mass.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
