Obituary	WALTER HARLAN WILKINS Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Nov. 26, at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Walter Harlan Wilkins, 75, of St. Albans who died Tuesday at the Sisters' Hospital, Waterville, after a short illness. The Rev. Gordon F. Parlin of the Dexter Methodist Church officiated. Bhrial was in the Magoon Cemetery, St. Albans. Honorary bearers were Harold Wing and Philip Additon, Ripley; Clifford Wilkins, St. Albans; Philip Mower, Edward Sawyer and John Betts. Active bearers were Fred Cooper, Freeman Wilkiins, Vernon Mayo and Hugh Cooney, all of St. Albans; George and Rockma Wing, Dexter. He was born at St. Albans. Feb. 16, 1886, son of Walter and Mary Ellen (Wing) Wilkins. A farmer and lumber dealer, he had operated a shingle mill at St. Albans and more recently a lumber mill at Ripley before his retirement some time ago. He was a member of Penobscot Masonic Lodge of Dexter. Besides his wife, Jennie, of St. Albans, he is survived by a brother, Clifford Wilkins of St. Albans; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Thomas of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Wilma Bouton of Boston, Mass., nieces and nephews.
